1. Routine posttreatment surveillance is recommended after adjuvant radiotherapy for stage I seminoma.

Nach adjuvanter Strahlentherapie von Seminompatienten im Stadium I wird eine Nachsorge empfohlen, systematische Studien für diese Empfehlungen fehlen jedoch.

2. The following tumours were reactive: myofibroblastic tumours, gastrointestinal stromal tumour, mesothelioma, adenomatoid tumour, traumatic neuroma, seminoma, seminoma in situ and other testicular tumours, pleomorphic adenoma (one of two tumours positive), and follicular dendritic reticulum cell sarcoma.

Positiv reagierende Tumoren: myofibroblastische Tumoren, der gastrointestinale Stromatumor, Mesotheliome, der Adenomatoidtumor, traumatische Neurome, Seminome, das Seminoma in situ und andere Hodentumoren, zweimal ein Karzinom, ein pleomorphes Adenom und das Sarkom der follikulären dendritischen Retikulumzellen.

3. Of the 43 patients with seminoma, a total number of 13 adjunctive surgeries were performed in 7 patients.

Bei 43 Patienten mit einem Seminom wurden bei 7 Patienten (16,3 %) insgesamt 13 Begleiteingriffe durchgeführt.

4. Complete remissions were obtained in 50% of metastasising seminoma with a combination chemotherapy consisting of Cyclophosphamide, Vinblastine and Amethopterin.

Die kombinierte Chemotherapie, bestehend aus Cyclophosphamid, Vinblastin und Amethopterin, erreicht bei metastasierenden Seminomen Vollremissionen von 50%.

5. There are described (1) a seedling gonadoblastoma (gonocytoma III) in a girl of 19 with primary amenorrhoea, an XO/XY karyotype and dysgenetic ovaries: there were no testicular rudiments and the tumour made no connection with any other structure; (2) a large gonadoblastoma (gonocytoma II) in a chromatin positive girl of 16 with puberty menorrhagia, showing diverse interrelated patterns including dysgerminoma, fibroma, granulosal cell tumour and embryonal carcinoma; and (3) a seminoma in a normal man of 23 with 4 small foci of intratubular gonadoblastoma at the tumour margin.

Dies kommt im normalen Hoden nur ganz ausnahmsweise vor (2 Fälle). Etwas weniger selten ist diese Reaktion in normalen Ovarien (8 Fälle), wo die Reaktion in schon bestehenden Stromawucherungen beobachtet wird. Die Reaktion variiert in Form und Grad.
